The International Standard Book Number (ISBN) is a number that uniquely identifies books and book-like products published internationally. The purpose of the ISBN is to establish and identify one title or edition of a title from one specific publisher and is unique to that edition, allowing for more efficient marketing of products by booksellers, libraries, universities, wholesalers and distributors.

Buying An ISBN Number From Us

For £45, we will assign your title a unique ISBN number. However this price does not just cover the purchase of an actual ISBN number. This covers:

            *· Updating Nielsen Book Data’s (UK), and The British Library CIP data. 
            *· Designing and inputting a barcode with your ISBN imbedded on your rear cover.

What Happen When You Buy An ISBN Number From Us

· If you buy an ISBN number from us, you must buy a minimum of 6 copies of your book (which will be taken out from your order) to satisfy the legal requirement to send six (6) free copies of every printed publication that is distributed in the UK to the British libraries within one calendar month of publication. This is regardless of where the author lives. We will despatch these copies out to the libraries for you. The standard postage and packing cost for this service to the British Libraries is £7.50 for the six books.

· If you buy an ISBN number from us, EsteemWorld Publication™ will be listed as the 'publisher' for the purpose of all book data reports.

Do I Have To Use Your Fulfilment Service When I Buy An ISBN?

No, you are not under any obligation to use our fulfilment service, but you'd be daft not to! There are a lot to again when you do.

Using Your Own ISBN/ASIN Number

You can use your own ISBN/ASIN number if it belongs to you in that you are the properly registered 'publisher'. If this is the case our name need not appear anywhere on the publication. However, if you use your own ISBN/ASIN number, we can still help you to:

· Generate and add a barcode to your book for just £15.
· Distribute your books at exactly the same fulfilment prices if you decide to join our fulfilment/distribution service.
